Left-Handed Viewfinder
Getting the camera down on the ground
June 2008
19 Images
Several folks have emailed wondering what the heck a left-handed
viewfinder is.
A left-handed viewfinder is very similar to a left-handed smoke shifter.
Before you Google "left-handed smoke shifter", let me save you the
trouble.
Neither device is real.
A left-handed viewfinder is really called a "right angle viewfinder".
It allows the photographer to look down (vertically) rather than
forward (horizontally).
In most of the pictures presented here, the camera is very close to the
ground.
That low, low angle makes all the difference.
